Charity Bucket Run in Memory of Baby Joshua Prime

Created by Rachael Wells 26th May 2011 This event has closed

Story

A fund raising event is being held on Saturday 28 May 2011 in memory of baby Joshua Prime, who was just 7 ½ months old when he tragically lost his life to pneumococcal meningitis on 17 March 2011. Jodie Davies and Andrea Renton, who are close friends with Rachael and Darren, are holding a charity bucket run around the pubs of Alnwick in Northumberland to raise funds for Joshua's Forever Fund which is supporting Meningitis UK. Their fund raising quest will start at The Hairy Lemon from 6pm to 10pm, they will then be in Penny Black between 10pm and midnight (whatever they raise here will be matched by owner John Hope). They will pass the other pubs on their way around Alnwick and finish off in the Tanners Arms. Both Jodie and Andrea urge as many people to come out and support the cause.
